ZOOM MEDIA CELEBRATES INCREASED CONTRIBUTIONS IN SUPPORT OF NATIONAL ADVERTISING BENEVOLENT SOCIETY OF CANADA (NABS)

ZOOM MEDIA Inc. announces their continued growth in donations from their unique ‘Agency Network’ during 2009/10. In a period of uncertainty and downturn in revenue for many media companies, Zoom Media has been in growth mode the past twelve months through a series of acquisitions. A key component of Zoom is the Agency Network which supports one of the longest donor-partnership programs in the communications industry. ZOOM has announced the renewal of a partnership with The NATIONAL ADVERTISING BENEVOLENT SOCIETY of Canada (NABS) for the 12th year, as their charity of choice through the donation of advertising sales from its Agency Network Fund in Ontario, Western Canada and Quebec. On Tuesday May 11th, at the 26th Annual NABS Fundraising Gala, ZOOM Media will announce the donation of a cheque for $55,000 which represents the proceeds from the 2009/2010 agency network campaign. ZOOM has now donated more than $600,000 through the Agency Network, representing one of the largest single contributors to NABS Canada. This support combines contributions to the NABS WEST chapter in Vancouver, B.C. and for NABS Quebec chapter – BEC - Bénévolat d'Entraide aux Communicateurs. Andy Querin, President and C.O.O. of ZOOM Media – Canada says, “Once again this year, our advertisers have provided Zoom Media the opportunity to continue growing our contributions to NABS. While 2009 was a challenging economic environment, several clients invested in the Agency Network and our donation to NABS increased by more than 35% this year thanks to them. We are extremely proud of our partnership with NABS and the impact we can make for individuals in need”. ZOOM Media operates the unique communication network for advertisers, through the placement of advertising boards in media and creative agencies across Canada. The “Agency Network” has grown since its creation in 1998 from 35 agencies to over 70 agencies across Canada (Quebec, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver). “Partnerships are one of the key elements in our annual fundraising campaign. NABS assisted a record number of industry colleagues in 2009 and we expect a similar number in 2010. The Network allows both agencies and advertisers the opportunity to mutually contribute with ZOOM in supporting NABS. All net proceeds are contributed to NABS through our 2010 ‘Friends of NABS’ donor campaign.
