The campaign was running for 4 weekends in the Westport area of Kansas City. LifeSavers (the candy) sponsored the event and truly lived up to its name by offering free rides home from the bars in our 10 fully wrapped London Taxis as an attempt to fight DUI.

The campaign was a huge success among the local police and bar goers. After 4 weekends in town people got very accustomed to the London Taxis and they became a part of the "Westport Experience". People were sad to see them go and wanted them back for more weekends. Who knows maybe we will be down there again?

Outside the bars our street team made sure to spread the word of the free taxis. Armed with disposable and digital cameras they got some great shots of how the London Taxis fitted into the night life in Kansas City. Question of the day - who brings a snake to a bar....

Since London Taxis Of North America does not have taxis operating in Kansas City we ran the event with 10 of our London Taxis from our fleet of 25 event marketing taxis from Chicago. We shipped the taxis to the location a week before the start of the campaign. This gave our wrapping company Daxam plenty of time to wrap the taxis. We always wrap taxis on site in order to minimize the risk of damaging the wrapping before the start of the campaign.
