The Mobile NFC Conference was attended by many of the leading companies in the Mobile NFC industry, where everybody has a vested interest to increase the penetration and understanding of Mobile NFC. There have been some very good speeches from speakers representing NXP, Citibank, Vodafone, and especially O2’s Claire Maslen about their findings in the O2 Wallet trial they just ended with Oyster card (Transport of London) and Barclaycard which gave some comforting response where 78% would like to use their mobile phone to pay and travel, the users of the trials pointed out that it was convenience, ease of use and status by using their mobile for travel and payment.
On the panel discussion which Adeye was part of we highlighted that the most likely area where Mobile NFC can take off and be a great entry for the Mobile NFC is Mobile Marketing, where people can use their NFC enabled handset to receive marketing by touching on a poster or a device. And we also believe that by implementing NFC already today, and not wait until Mobile NFC handsets becomes available but to feed a need in the market for people to demand NFC on their handsets so they can participate in NFC activities that takes part all over the world. http://www.greatoutdoornetwork.com/GON/adeyemobile

AboutAdEye is based on a patented technology consisting of an intelligent combination of either infrared or Bluetoot technology and SMS services. The local-based interface enables special communication between sender and receiver. The initiating sender is a mobile phone which has to be equipped with an infrared or Bluetooth interface. The receiver is a programmed server which reacts with a preset response according to the demand of the sender.
