Broadway seeking new audiences locates them in the communities at the grocery stores. This can be referred to as necessity media. With weekly pedestrian traffic and teller transactions in the thousands at each store, this adds up to monthly impressions that count. "You can't miss it, each person who enters the store and retrieves a store circular will see these ads", states Chris Esposito CEO/ 3 Feet Media. The signage is eye level and is back lighted with scroller technology built in. Broadcast Marketing Corp a media buying and trading group placed the shows in NJ and NY Pathmark stores. "The reason is because the medium is cost effective and cost efficient in attaining new attendees to these shows", stated Jeff Wolfman President/ BMC. While there are many in metro NY who see the ads regularly, those patrons who live, work and shop outside the main DMA, contribute to the overall sales growth of these shows. Targeting families and shoppers, who may not have had a night out on Broadway on their minds, are seeing what they are missing and are responding to the ads. This is just one of the many ongoing success stories coming out of the GON. Our B to B platform on the internet continues to out distance would-be competitors because, at the end of the day, our vendor members have the billing dollars to show for it. We conduct regular networking meetings to connect media planners and buyers with media vendors to create campaigns that deliver results. “The GON has come out with 2 upgraded versions since we’ve been on the network. Each one has taken its members to a whole new level of productivity. I can’t wait to see what they do next.” Jeff Wolfman.
