Consumer comment ‐ “I didn’t know chickens could fly..” Market: San Francisco Bay Area Product: Launch of the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich Duration: Three weeks Target: The campaign was set up to target three different demographic profiles: Hispanic, Asian & African American Method: Two balloon teams targeting consumers as follows; Hispanic areas and events handing out coupons in Spanish for a free sandwich using Bilingual Ambassadors. Asian campaign, targeted Asian Areas and events handed out Coupons in Vietnamese and Korean with Asian speaking Ambassadors. African American, targeted heavy AA areas, particularly in Oakland, events like radio remotes and events attended by Ronald McDonald, using African American Ambassadors… Feedback: Initial results are very promising, McDonald franchises in the areas are very happy with the execution of the campaign.
