Since all these methods have been around for many years we have adapted and learned to ignore most of them - We flip through the pages of magazines and newspapers, static billboards and signs blend in with the background virtually unnoticed, radio stations are switched as soon commercials begin, TV commercials get fast forwarded thanks to TIVO, and internet banners and pop ups have become an annoyance.

Lucent Advertising's scrolling billboard trucks are the answer to today's advertising and promotional clutter. They target the consumers when they least expect to be targeted. They are large enough to be very visible but yet not to overwhelm the reader. The scrolling motion keeps the audience involved as they anticipate the next billboard. They are backlit making them visible and even more interesting during the early morning and evening hours. And they are environmentally friendly by operating on both BioDiesel and regular diesel. We can look at our hour-to-hour statistics report for our website, and we can almost tell when the drivers take a lunch break! It's truly amazing. When we mentioned this to Mr. Karam he told us that he believes in the saying that "Less is More". He continued explaining that "when we designed the billboards for Highway 2 Success, our goal was to present an image that will not only attract the viewer's attention but also deliver the message intended. The billboards are very simple but yet they create an interest and call for action from the viewer. The planning of the campaign is also extremely important. So, how does it work? On their current weekday service they have a set route. Hours of research and planning have gone into the design of this particular route. They have studied the local demographics carefully to determine the busiest routes, local Hot-Spots, school drop off and pick up times, along with local events. Every week they review this and much more data to determine when and where the truck should be to generate the maximum exposure for their clients. Their clients also have absolute control of the ads during any exclusive special event. During these events they consult with their clients to design a scheduled route and times that all parties feel will make a successful campaign.
