SEATTLE – IKEA of Seattle is proud to launch a series of events with one of the most unique forms of advertising the state of Washington has ever seen. A multi-media vehicle, from GoMobile Advertising, will help announce and distribute the new 2007 catalogue to Western Washington.
The GoMobile vehicle is wrapped with the IKEA 2007 catalog and features a 3-D living art display of new products featured in the magazine. This special IKEA vehicle will be seen at a variety of local events in King, Pierce, Kitsap and Snohomish counties including Seafair, sporting events, concerts and festivals. The vehicle will run until September 4th, finishing up the lineup with an appearance at Bumbershoot. “We are excited to partner with such an outstanding company as IKEA on this ground-breaking, innovative campaign,” said Chris Schuler, president of GoMobile Advertising. Those experiencing the vehicle can also listen to an audio message on external speakers, and on a mobile radio network broadcasted from the vehicle. Ingemar, the heavily-accented spokesperson heard on the IKEA commercials, has a special audio message: if they repeat the secret code at the IKEA store, they can receive a free gift! “We are always looking unique ways to get our message across” noted IKEA owner Björn Bayley. “We are eager to see what kind of impact we can draw from such a unique medium. “We call it ‘Living Art Advertising,’ and it represents the future of mobile advertising and the ability to reach consumers and break through the clutter in new and exciting ways,” said Mike Seifert, VP of Sales for GoMobile Advertising, “Look for our street teams at various events to receive your 2007 IKEA catalogue.” Visit GoMobile Promotions Premier Member Profile...
