Al Día, the Spanish language newspaper of The Dallas Morning News, announces the launch of a brand new advertising campaign, utilizing multiple media vehicles for the first time in order to reach the growing Hispanic population in Dallas/-Fort Worth. The new campaign, called “OPEN YOUR EYES,” features 30- and 15-second television commercials on several stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and billboards with CBS Outdoor Latino. “This advertising effort is part of a marketing strategy that focuses on optimizing our distribution, obtaining a larger number of subscribers and serving the community, of readers as well as advertisers,” said Alejandro Sánchez, Publisher of Al Día. “The new positioning of Al Día reflected though this advertising campaign and backed by the new slogan ‘Your World Daily,’ captures the essence of Al Día, which features a wide variety of news and lifestyle issues that are important and relevant to our readers,” said Isaac Lasky, Marketing Director. "Outdoor advertising has the ability to reach large numbers of potential readers. We chose CBS Outdoor Latino to partner with us on this effort. Their locations, flexibility and service has convinced us that we absolutely made the right choice!" Al Día, the only local Spanish-language newspaper in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is published Monday through Saturday, has received numerous awards for excellence in journalism, along with its Web site, www.aldiatx.com.
