Ariel Eskenazi, General Director of Megabyte and organizer of the event, has expressed: "We are very satisfied with the result of the event and the interest showed by the majority of the attendees. With our experience offering wireless technology in the Panama market, this year we decide to go beyond through Educational Seminars. We are looking to touch our clients operation most sensitive pain points due to the great majority of companies in Ciudad de Colon continue having their processes and inventory management in a completely manual manner. Those companies taking the initiative are going to improve their processes, being more efficient and differentiate from their competitors." Fernando Gonzalez, Datex Vice President for Latin America and speaker during the event, has thought to be very pleased with the result of the event and with the power of assembly and presence in the market of his Associate and event coordinator, Megabyte Center. He adds that the companies in this region and, above all, the new generations commanding these organizations are realizing that in order to be able to compete in the new globalize economy they require technology to improve their operation, storage, distribution, etc. "Datex already has an important presence in Central America, and definitely we see Panama and the Colon Free Trade Zone, as the greater growth market in the region", has concluded Fernando At the event closure, Megabyte and the sponsors have offered a Coffee Break next to a personalized session of questions and answers, where the attendees have communicated their questions and have completed a survey to compile their comments and themes of interest. This information will be very useful to Megabyte and its partners to monitor the different projects and companies that have a concrete interest in developing technological initiatives. Megabyte will continue organizing this type of events in the City of Colon. As a consequence of the success of this seminar, it is estimated that atleast five (5) companies will start the implementation of Datex EX Warehouse Management System during 2007.
