Yamaha de Mexico, S.A., based on its Logistic Global Plan initiated in 2005, will require an implementation of a WMS system program, including Radio Frequency handhelds that will automate the warehouse operation and will provide to Yamaha and its clients real-time information, inventory visibility, competitive advantages, and technological support for the future growth of the business. The Logistic Analysis has been done in Yamaha’s installations by Datex professional team which has develop a business report showing the areas and processes that can be highly improved with Datex’s Warehouse Management System implementation. Among the most important benefits for Yamaha we can find no more paperwork during the operations, no more labor processes to maintain current systems, the capability to have a centralized system, an increase in receiving and shipping orders visibility and reports improvement. Also, the system provides serial control for the required products. These serial numbers were registered before in a manual way during the receipt and products shipments. This headache for the business will be eliminated once the system implementation concludes. “We are very pleased to have Yamaha de Mexico as a Datex customer. Yamaha is an international and prestigious company and after the WMS system implementation, their warehouse operations will be qualified and known for its high international level performance”, commented Fernando Gonzalez, Datex VP for Latinoamerica About Yamaha Mexico Visit Datex's Premier Member Profile...
