As a result of this research and selection process, Morel S.A and Conway S.A. will implement Datex EX Warehouse Management System, including RF wireless terminals, barcode technology and WMS Software. Regarding this research process, Araiz added, “after several months of consulting more than 5 WMS providers in Europe as well as North America, and after having an exact idea of the kind of system that we were looking for, it has been decided along with our consultants, to select Datex International as our Warehouse Management System provider because of the confidence that they have provided us with answers to all of our questions”. Datex EX WMS is a Tier I Warehouse Management System with complete functionality in areas such as receiving, putaway, crossdocking, quality control, location management, picking, packing, shipping, and order consolidation among others. “With this new version of our system, we will automate all the operations in the warehouse providing Morel and its clients with real-time information, inventory visibility, competitive advantages and complete technological support for future growth”, emphasize Fernando Gonzalez, Vice President – Latin America for Datex International.
