When Vertigo launched in 2002, founders Chris Bolton and Ralph Idems had a singular vision: EXCELLENCE. Today, excellence continues to drive us from our product service innovation, to our recruitment, retention, culture, and execution strategy. Our vision is what propels the company forward, now with 60 employees from two at our inception. Based in Toronto, Canada Vertigo recently opened offices in the US and China with plans to launch a UK office in early 2008. Vertigo designs, engineers and produces a comprehensive line of products including street furniture, mall directories, POS displays, menu boards, kiosks and many custom parts and assemblies. Our Toronto facility manages the design, engineering, prototyping, testing and manufacturing products of small to medium volumes. Also based in Toronto is our advanced design and engineering group comprised of products designers, mechanical, electrical, lighting and thermal engineers. In addition, Vertigo houses a part manufacturing facility and complete final assembly cells which includes our newest ESD line for electronic assembly. While Vertigo’s Toronto operation will continue to be the Global head office and New Product Introduction Centre, Vertigo will produce large product volumes in our new FAT (final assembly and test) capability in China.
