![]() GARDEN CITY, NY -Streetblimps, Inc., a company that implements alternative advertising campaigns, inked an exclusive agreement with atrium billboard provider Universal Media Networks to execute campaigns inside and around malls in major markets throughout the U.S. This new agreement enables advertisers to utilize Streetblimps’ alternative marketing capabilities, including: brand ambassadors for product sampling, demonstrations and more; Segways with signage and brand ambassadors; projection media displayed on the sides of buildings as still images or 30-second videos; sidewalk, street and floor decals; vehicle wraps; ad balloons; and mobile billboards. “Advertisers have begun looking at malls as a new media,” said Doug Frantin president of Streetblimps, Inc., whose company covers every campaign with $6 million in liability insurance. “Providing alternative advertising in and around malls gives advertisers what they want--easy access to national media buys in a location where consumers are primed to buy.” U.S malls attract billions of consumers each year. One leading mall operator recently disclosed a headcount of 2.4 billion annual visitors. That audience size is four to five times more than the total attendance at all professional and collegiate sports events nationwide.
