About Titan Worldwidegrowing, privately owned, full-service out-of-home advertising company, today announced that it has been awarded the contract to sell advertising media on the Westchester County Department of Transportation’s Bee-Line Buses—a New York state-based public transportation system that serves the communities of White Plains, Yonkers, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Peekskill, Bedford, Cortlandt, Eastchester, Greenburgh, Harrison, Mamaroneck, Mount Kisco, Mount Pleasant, New Castle, North Castle, Ossining, Pelham, Rye, Scarsdale, Somers and Yorktown. Pursuant to a three-year contract set to launch October 1st, 2006, Titan Worldwide will assume all advertising sales responsibilities pertaining to Westchester County transit properties. The Westchester County Department of Transportation’s Bee-Line Bus System is consistently ranked as one of America’s best, most efficient and cost-effective public transit providers. With 62 routes and a service area of 450 miles, the Bee-Line provides transit service within walking distance to more than 65% of Westchester County’s residents. The Bee-Line comprises a fleet of 416 transit vehicles with an annual ridership in the range of 30 million passengers.
