ABC Entertainment and Generation Outdoor joins with freshly launched marketing company, City Eventions to distribute branded scrubs in hospitals to publicize the fourth season of “Grey’s Anatomy” premiering September 27th on ABC.
Scrubs, lab coats, and long-sleeve shirts, branded with “Grey’s Anatomy” logo and bearing tags citing timeslot information, are being dispersed throughout hospitals in New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Clothing will be provided to hospital staff from September 10th through September 14th in ten hospitals per market including Mount Sinai in New York, UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, and University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. “We've been met with so much enthusiasm while coordinating and distributing the “Grey’s Anatomy” scrubs to hospitals in the targeted markets! It’s such a unique campaign that’s created excitement for the new season,” said City Eventions head, Michael Monestime. Branded product distribution in niche arenas like hospitals, is one way that marketing newcomer City Eventions permeates the advertising soak typical of this time of year when networks breakout the big budgets to promote fall primetime lineups. The media plan for “Grey’s Anatomy” also includes conventional mediums like television, print and outdoor.
