Taking Lenticular Further:(Fresno, California, USA) This month, Fresno-based Lenticular-leader Big3D.com launches the uniquely designed 100% Lenticular cups and containers, heralding the arrival of a new era in Lenticular packaging. Made entirely from lenticular lens material, these cups and containers feature 3D depth and image vibrancy usually seen in larger-format lenticular graphics. Until now, lenticular cups started with a lenticular graphic made of a very thin material wrapped around injection-molded cup bodies. By forming the container completely out of Lenticular lens, Big3D is able to achieve the most amazing depth and 3D effects ever seen in a Lenticular cup or container (visit http://www.3Dcups.com and http://www.Big3D.com). Big3D's 3D/Motion Lenticular containers are currently available as a beverage cup in four sizes: 12, 16, 20 and 32-ounce. Since the cup employs a classic rolled-lip design, standard lid types of a wide variety are easily available. Additionally, custom shapes and sizes can be developed for other packaging applications. The possibilities presented by this new product are varied: from promotional tie-ins to self-liquidating promo programs, from brand awareness projects to individual retail sale concepts, the 3D/Motion cups and containers from Big3D impact consumers in a way no other packaging can duplicate. Lauded not only for its amazing 3D depth and unsurpassed image vibrancy, the 3D/Motion container fulfills the expectations of an increasingly environment-sensitive business climate. Corporations large and small are contending with the challenges of producing environment-positive packaging, and Big3D's 100% polypropylene 3D/Motion container meets every key aspect of the "Three R's": Reduce, Re-use, Recycle. By utilizing a light-weight single-material structure (20-50% less plastic by weight than an IML cup) significant reductions in energy are achieved during manufacture and shipping. Constructing the container out of strong polypropylene allows the container to be reused many times. Finally, polypropylene is completely recyclable, and is encouraged for packaging use by organizations such as GreenPeace. In defining its "Pryamid of Plastics" the use of polypropylene is considered more desirable than all other plastics, second only to the still under-development bio-polymers.
