Mobile Marketing Update: August 2007 With coverage in any market, billboards on wheels can literally be driven to your audience -- wherever they are -- even difficult-to-reach locations. These mobile ads follow targets as they move about heavily trafficked areas. They go where more-static, outdoor advertising displays like roadside billboards can't. Shown by independent surveys to be one of outdoor advertising's most effective tools, the Mobile Billboard can target specific zip codes. Economically healthy downtowns teem with people--and congestion. Businesses, retail and entertainment establishments and restaurants congregate in these areas, and the "sprawl" continues to be a dominant, land-development pattern. According to Arbitron's Outdoor Study, 1/3 of Americans say they shop most near their work or split their shopping near home and work. "Mobile Billboard companies help companies and agencies cost effectively place high-quality, high impact messages in front of millions . . . in places that produce results," says CEO Jon Canaday. President Kevin Todd adds, "A multi-truck fleet can flood the city with your message; you can be everywhere. Truckside advertising increases brand awareness, name recognition, and complements the existing media mix. It's a great way to reach hard to hit areas, as well as huge geographic territories." |
