Toronto, ON - May 18, 2007 - MISA, the leading provider of outdoor media management software announces the launch of Board's Eye. The latest in innovative technology developed by MISA, Board's Eye is a single hardware solution powered by Charting Pro to capture and report:
Using a camera eye mounted on a structure, pedestrian and automobile counts are counted and analyzed according to the flow of traffic. The system delivers powerful information to measure effectiveness of ad campaigns. Board's Eye allows advertisers and agencies to view yesterday's results today; true circulation numbers not estimated or dated counts. "It's time that outdoors' proof-of-performance is constant, detailed, web-based and provides the daily traffic counts" explains Jimmy McAndrew, CEO, Magic Media, Inc. "With confidence we want to tell our advertisers their copy is up on time, where they expected it to be and the number of cars that have gone by. And we want to be able to do this every day!" In addition to the cameras, MISA is currently deploying RFID tags on the vinyl for a dozen Magic Media Boards throughout Rochester, Minnesota and Kansas City. The tags, which are as thin as and a third of the size of a credit card, act as a beacon to deliver valuable posting information (date, time, location, creative) back to the market scheduler on a regular basis. Better information and accurate reporting will increase the value of operators inventory, reduce installation errors, improve client experience and ensure credibility. The final component of Board's Eye is a reliable, cost effective means to monitor all types of lighting systems using one common interface. Two-way communication with the structure allows the market scheduler to monitor and schedule electrical and mechanical malfunctions, alarms are automatically sent in the event of a failure. With Board's Eye in place operators can rest assured their electricity bills will go down and productivity will go up. About Magic Media, Inc.
