Firm Wins Multiple Transit Shelter Contracts in Surburban Maryland

The firm has rapidly expanded its presence around the capitol beltway and recently secured an exclusive shelter franchise agreement with Prince George's County, Maryland. The contract encompasses over 300 advertising panels on major thoroughfares in suburban Maryland near the Washington DC line.

In addition to its 10-year contract with Prince George's County, Signal Outdoor has sealed agreements with the cities of Takoma Park, College Park, Laurel, Landover Hills and Seat Pleasant. These franchise agreements bring an additional 200 advertising panels to the Company's Maryland operation.

By providing a large number of bus shelters to these communities over a relatively short period of time, Signal Outdoor is helping to improve the quantity and quality of public amenities provided to local citizens and bus riders. In addition to free equipment and maintenance, the local municipality receives a portion of the advertising revenue. These funds can be used to improve public transit facilities.
