Fuel Outdoor Heads West
New York, NY [August 14, 2007] – Following upon the acquisition of San Francisco based Ink On The Wall, Inc; the recent victory of its law suit in the 9th Circuit; and the buyout of its long-term real estate partner in Los Angeles; Fuel Outdoor has transferred Seth Lippert, co-founder and President, to Los Angeles to spearhead the launch of Fuel West, a new division of Fuel meant to capture innovative and entrepreneurial opportunities for the firm on the West Coast. Fuel is consolidating its staff and assets on the West Coast into one formal business unit, facilitating the company’s continued expansion into the lucrative West Coast Out Of Home Media markets. Today, Fuel owns over 500 advertising assets between its Los Angeles and San Francisco plants. “It only makes sense for us to dedicate staff, capital and energy to further expanding our capabilities on the West Coast,” says Fuel CEO Michael Freedman. “By moving one of Fuel’s partners and original founders into the market, we are making a commitment to become one of the premier companies in California and beyond. We have done the same in Miami. We are taking on the industry one market at a time by providing a superior product and investing in quality people – our sales, management and support staff.” Fuel recently acquired Sarmiento Advertising Group and its 720 advertising panels throughout Miami. The company solidified its hold on the market by winning the 20-year contract for the City of Miami’s Street Furniture concession. Fuel is installing 600 state-of-the-art Transit Shelters and refuse receptacles over the next 3 years, adding 200 advertising faces to the Miami plant in the most desirable locations. Fuel has quickly become the Out Of Home vendor of choice in the Miami market and intends to use the same drive and aggressive business strategy in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
