Dynamax’s passage to India

Dynamax is set to play a major role in the changing advertising landscape of India, after securing a deal with Indian partner Morphosis. India has recently been capitalising on the effects of strong economic growth and the increasing prosperity of a large generation of highly educated, English speaking people who have greater spending power and access to India’s retail sector. Morphosis is installing Dynamax’s screen technology and PointOfView technology in locations such as restaurants, retail stores and train stations across India, after similar installations in many European sites have proven to be successful. SP Rao, director at Morphosis has stated that Indian Railways are already showing an interest in developing installations, while there is a strong demand for digital signage in India’s huge retail sector. Tim Harvey, PointOfView product manager comments: “This is intelligent advertising that has proven to be a success, and I believe Digital Signage could be massive in India – a country of such huge untapped potential.” “The applications for digital signage are endless, and our software can be used in other areas outside of the retail and transport sectors such as schools, and even call centers, where statistics on call-responses and other data can be displayed on LCD screens.”
