As a tribute to individual service, OAAA bestowed several special awards to deserving persons at the end of their National Convention and Trade Show, held May 7-9, 2007 in San Diego, CA.

Wally Kelly, Chairman and CEO of CBS Outdoor was presented with the Myles Standish Award, the outdoor industry's highest honor. Since 1954, this award has been presented at each OAAA National Convention to recognize the individual who has made the greatest contribution to the outdoor advertising industry.

Mr. Kelly has been in the outdoor advertising business for 29 years, and has unmatched enthusiasm for the industry, with a special focus on sales and customer service. He is an active member of the OAAA Board of Directors and Executive Committee; and serves on the Board of Directors at TAB, where he provides influential leadership for the entire outdoor industry.

The OAAA is the outdoor industry's largest trade association, dedicated to leading and uniting a responsible outdoor advertising industry that addresses the needs of consumers, advertisers and the public. Nearly 1000 companies are members of the OAAA, and these members generate $6.8 billion annually in ad revenues, representing more than 90% of industry income.
