Alternative advertising and marketing spend is on the rise. Alternative media strategies attempt to bypass the clutter of traditional advertising and marketing in an effort to reach targeted audiences, primarily through new media together with traditional marketing methods The industry outlook on alternative media strategies is that alternative media spend is leading the hyper-transformation of communications models akin to what happened with the advent of newspapers, radio, television and the Internet.
