Jennie-O Turkey Store's campaign in HCPN clubs generates coupon redemption rate of over 11%....and draws the attention of BrandWeek. Earlier this year, Jennie-O Turkey Store, a division of Hormel, ran a comprehensive advertising and couponing campaign in HCPN clubs in key markets throughout the country.. Panel advertising with attached coupon tear pads were placed in key congregation points in the women’s locker rooms and common workout areas. Over the course of the campaign, nearly 250,000 coupons were distributed to health club members. To date, nearly 27,000 have been redeemed – generating a redemption rate of over 11%. "We're thrilled with the results, obviously," said Cris Eide, Director of Retail Marketing for Jennie-O. "Coupon redemption on our HCPN campaign in 2006 was close to 7%, which was well above our benchmark expectation. This year's results are even more spectacular. Health club members are definitely part of our core consumer audience and our campaigns targeting them really do seem to be enhancing their trial of and loyalty towards our brand. We also benefit from the fact that HCPN ensures our advertising gets uncluttered, impactful exposure in their clubs. We look forward to even more success with HCPN in the future," he added.
