Jennie-O Turkey Store, a subsidiary of Hormel Foods and the largest seller of turkey products in the country, launched a campaign in HCPN clubs earlier this year to promote its Jennie-O Turkey Store in-store concept. The campaign's goals were to increase awareness of ground turkey as an easy and healthy ingredient in home meal preparation and, via take-one coupons offered on the panel, drive trial and sales of Jennie-O Turkey Store's ground turkey. "Health club members were a strategic fit for us since they eat more protein-based foods than the general population and are keenly tuned into health messaging in the clubs", said Cris Eide, Group Product Manager for Jennie-O Turkey Store. "This was one of our first campaigns outside of traditional media, so we weren't exactly sure what to expect, but we were really pleased. HCPN was easy to work with, our panels looked great in the clubs and, most importantly, our coupon redemption rate (between 5-10%) vastly exceeded our expectations", he added. "We look forward to further successful campaigns with HCPN in the near future". Visit Health Club’s Premier Member Profile…
