Last year, Captive Media, the parent company of Health Club Panel Network, launched HCPN-Digital Broadcast (HCPN-DB), an exclusive in-club digital media network in health clubs across the country. HCPN-DB offers advertisers the unique opportunity to broadcast their commercials and other digital media on television and digital signage screens as well as over the ambient audio network in all participating health clubs. "Response has been overwhelming, from RFP's to securing actual business," said Phil Donahue, SVP of Sales for HCPN/HCPN-DB. "The in-club music video/audio network is what gives clubs energy and excitement; and thus it's continuously on from the moment the club opens until they shut the doors at night – ensuring our clients the most comprehensive exposure of their television advertising in health clubs," he added. "As the nation's dominant provider of advertising and marketing opportunities in health clubs, we are always seeking to expand our in-club offerings to better serve our clients," said Mike Lederer, EVP of Captive Media and the company's point person on the HCPN-DB launch. "HCPN has evolved from a simple in-club static panel signage company to one that now also offers chilled and dry sampling, off-panel media such as branded floor mats, mirror clings, yoga mats, weight racks, etc., in-club event marketing (fitness challenges, sponsored classes, educational programs, etc.), and now digital media advertising via HCPN-DB. We are really proud of what we have built and look forward to helping our clients successfully reach this highly desirable active adult audience in the most creative and impactful ways possible in the years ahead," he added.
