Consumers indicate they pay most attention to digital media at there health clubs, nearly 40% higher in engagement than the average OOH vendor measured. Health club members are truly a captive audience. On a treadmill, elliptical trainer or stationary bike, or even just lifting weights, they are staying in one location for upwards of 30 minutes or more. Health club members are also seeking to be entertained, to make their workouts more enjoyable. These factors make health clubs the most vibrant venue for OOH digital media. ![]() This has now been confirmed by OTX, a well know research company that specializes in engagement analytics. When OTX surveyed consumers, on behalf of SeeSaw Networks, and asked them where they paid most attention to digital media outside their home, health clubs emerged the clear winner, nearly 20% higher in total engagement than the next most popular venue (bars) and close to 40% higher than the average OOH venue measured. "Health clubs are really the 'perfect storm' venue for OOH digital media," said Richard Hirsch, EVP of Marketing for Health Club Panel Network .
