Position: Sales Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Fairway Outdoor Advertising is seeking an aggressive, motivated, dynamic and proactive sales manager. The ideal candidate will be a skilled negotiator, organized, team player and able to build and grow outstanding client relationships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Responsible for meeting and exceeding established revenue goals and the development of strategies to achieve them; Drive and implement sales initiatives throughout the market; Hold regular sales meetings with the Account Executives and sales area staff for information, motivation, and training; Maintain a smooth flow of paperwork for contracts and production orders; Insure Account Executives' submit timely and accurate paperwork; Maintain relationship with the General Manger through frequent communication of sales strategies and market information; Meets with key clients, assisting the General Manager with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals; Strictly adhere to Fairway Outdoor Advertisingšs credit and collections policy; Be involved in the community, and develop relationships with top advertisers; Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times; Perform other related duties as assigned or as they become necessary.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Baccalaureate degree or equivalent plus a minimum of three to five years media sales experience required; Must be computer literate and be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs; Knowledge of the outdoor advertising industry, including knowledge of competing media required; Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, and organization skills; Willing to travel as required; Drug screen and background check required.
