The 14th Edition of International Advertisng Show of New Media, New Technology, New Equipment and New Materials (4Nshow 2007), one of China¡¯s largest and oldest specialized signage, graphic imaging & advertising events in its category concluded on a positive and gratifying note.
Beijing, capital of China, is also the political, economic and cultural center of China. Its social development and particularly economic growth will inevitably be the showcase and demonstration arena of China. Under the rapid economic growing environment, Beijing takes the opportunities of entering WTO and winning the sponsorship of hosting the Olympic Games in 2008. Its global oriented economy will gain significant headway. Take Beijing alone, an outstanding reconstruction of the city¡¯s landscape for the Olympic Games in year 2008 has brought about a tremendous market and business opportunity for the advertising industry mainly represented by the outdoor advertising. To seize this opportunity, the advertising production will move on a new stage. The annual International Advertising Show of New Media, New Technology, New Equipment and New Materials (4Nshow) was originated in 1994. The 14th edition of 4Nshow was inaugurated on May 17th 2007, and reported a record number of both exhibitors and professional visitors from over 10 countries and regions. Over 300 companies from 8 countries and regions exhibited at the show. According to statistical data on the 14th International Advertising Show (4Nshow 2007) held in May 14-20th 2007, totally there are more than 30,000 professional visitors from local and overseas participated the show during this four day event. Nearly 3000 visitors from 28 countries and regions gathered in the show. Countries involved include US, European countries, Southeast Asian countries, CIS countries, Middle East countries and African countries. Among these foreign visitors, group visitors from France, Ukraine, Turkey, and Ghana were led by their local industrial associations or magazines and made fruitful achievement during the trade show.
According to Mr. Wang Ying, vice general manager of China Electronics International Eexhibition & Advertising Co., Ltd, organizer of the event, Beijing 4Nshow has witnessed the growing process of China¡¯s signmaking and outdoor advertising industry in the last decade. It is a window for Chinese and Asian manufacturers to communicate with international colleagues in the industry. It is said that many companies in the past did not expect that China would have advanced so fast in embracing digital era in the signmaking and advertising sectors. China will definitely become the workshop of the world soon. More and more leading distributors and some key OEMs outside China were looking to develop relationships and partnerships with good manufacturers in countries with lower manufacturing costs, such as China. Seeking alternatives and exploring new business relationships with Chinese manufacturers are two main purposes for visiting 4Nshow. The figures speak for themselves and the exhibition has had all-round growth in terms of exhibitors, exhibition space, visitor turnout, and in both the number and value of deals clinched by participants, buyers and sellers at the Show. 4Nshow is not only the earliest exhibition for the domestic advertising industry but also one of the most influential international exhibitions in China. Based in Beijing, 4Nshow is orientated to the whole country and linking with the world. In this way, the original intention of the show has been successfully fulfilled, i.e. to create a platform for those advertising and signmaking manufacturers to make their products well known and accepted.
The 15th 4Nshow (China Sign Expo 2008)will be held on June 05 ¨C 08, 2008 at China International Exhibition Center, Beijing. It is expected that over 400 exhibitors in the world will showcase their best and latest advertising equipment, materials, technologies and media applied in the sign & advertising manufacturing and designing fields at the show. The industry is here to stay and the sustained growth is indicative of the bright prospects for business ahead.
