World of Events: The Ultimate Showcase of Suppliers to the Special Events

In a first for the city of Durban, the Markex exhibition, a showcase of marketing and promotional products and services, will be held at the city's renowned International Conference Centre (ICC) in August this year.

Markex is described as the definitive marketing, promotions and special events exhibition and has a long history, the first exhibition opening its doors 21 years ago in Johannesburg.

The show continues to grow each year and is an important date in the calendar for buyers of corporate wear and corporate gifts, as well as marketing managers, event organisers and brand managers, to name a few, says Lynn Chamier, director of Exhibitions for Africa, the event organisers.

There are a large number of corporates either based in Durban or with their head offices situated there, so the market demand for an exhibition of this nature has been growing for some time and we felt the time was right to respond to this demand.
